The Vocational Training Charitable Trust (VTCT) has been in existence in one form or another for over forty years and has been at the forefront of developing the vocational system of qualifications in the United Kingdom. VTCT specialise in the areas of Beauty Therapy, Hairdressing, Holistic & Complementary Therapies and Sports & Fitness.
VTCT incorporates provision for the Awarding Body titles - International Health and Beauty Council (IHBC), International Institute of Health and Holistic Therapies (IIHHT) and International Institute of Sports Therapy (IIST). Some certificates therefore have this extra badging and are well known internationally as the qualifications are assessed to the same competence standards as N/SVQ's.
As a VTCT Training and Assessment Centre, The Ávida Beauty Academy is regularly monitored by VTCT. Our beauty and holistic courses are designed specifically for candidates to achieve the VTCT IHBC and IIHHT qualifications. Our prestigious VTCT qualifications will ensure membership with any professional beauty & holistic association such as the GPBT and FHT and to obtain essential treatment insurance.
On registering with VTCT, you receive a lifetime registration number that you can use every time you apply for further VTCT qualifications, even if you have had a gap from education or moved to a different area and attend a different Training Centre. Once you have completed a course successfully, you will receive full certification and the chance to apply for one of VTCT's qualification badges, worn with pride by many practicing within the industry.
